25 cards. Beyond this, customers may order any quantity they desire.
All special occasion cards and photo birth announcements have a base price per piece for quantities of 25-49, and are discounted thereafter based upon the total quantity ordered. Optional features and services are available for set prices. No discounts are applied.
As soon as we receive your order and a photo of acceptable quality, we will send a proof to you within 3 - 4 business days. Once approved, we will typically print and ship your photo birth announcements and special occasion cards within 24 hours.

Exceptions:
  • An additional day may be needed for orders requiring assembly.
  • Processing times after Thanksgiving are usually several days longer.
  • Shipping times must of course be added to the above and can vary from two to five business days via UPS Ground depending on customer location.
We most certainly can. Most of the designs you see depicted on our site can be easily customized to give you the look and feel you want. There are a variety of layouts, backings, ribbons and envelopes from which to choose. Our customer service department will be happy to work closely with you to construct a one-of-a-kind card.
Most of our photo birth announcements and special occasion cards include a backing, semi-translucent vellum overlay, ribbon and envelope. Assembly is necessary for these cards. We also have designs that require no assembly, as well as die cut selections where the vellum attaches without a ribbon. Optional product upgrades include: color printing, return address imprinting, premium ribbons and card assembly. Additional charges apply for these services.
No. But, we will be happy to assemble/insert/tie/fold your special occasion cards and photo birth announcements for you at an additional fee per card. Alternatively, if you prefer to do it yourself, we will ship your order with an assembled card, and simple instructions for you to follow.

Note: some designs require little or no assembly.
For a deposit of $0.20 per envelope plus shipping, we will ship your envelopes prior to the placement of your photo birth announcement or special occasion order. The deposit amount will then be credited to your account once the complete order is submitted. Since there are different envelopes for various designs, customers must select which card they want prior to ordering their envelopes in advance. Customers may also choose our return address imprinting option at $0.25 per envelope. If it is desired to match the envelope text with the announcement text, the typestyle needs to be selected prior to the pre-order.

We prefer a sharply focused 4 x 6 color glossy print (we accept sizes up to 8 x 10). Black & white prints will also suffice. The prints should be from a negative, not an ink jet or photo printer. Alternatively, we can work with digital images e-mailed to us in JPG format. Before taking the picture, set your digital camera to the highest quality setting. The resulting image should be at least 1200 x 960 dpi. See our Photo Tips section for more information.
Yes we can. However, customers are responsible for providing a written copyright release from the photographer authorizing the reproduction of the photo.
Yes. In fact, we prefer to have several photos from which to choose. Please number them in your order of preference on the back of the photos. If in our professional opinion your first choice will not work, we will contact you to discuss the other photo options. Once a photo has been selected, our graphic artists will then optimize its appearance on the card. After the design process has begun, a photo processing fee of $20.00 will be incurred should you decide to use a different photo.

Note: On your initial order you must choose whether you want your photo to be represented in full color or black & white. After your photo has been processed, changing your photo choice from black & white to full-color or vice-versa requires our graphic artists to start the design process over from scratch. Such a change would incur a $20.00 photo processing fee.
Most photo birth announcements and special occasion cards in our catalog include the processing of one photo in the base price. Select designs include the processing of multiple photos in the base price. For customers who wish to place more than one photo on a single-photo product, a $20.00 charge will apply for each photo you choose to add.
Yes, your photo will be returned with your order. Please be sure to gently write your name on the back of your photos.
Yes, customers may purchase any design with the text-only option. We also have layouts that contain artwork fitting the occasion.
Absolutely. This is part of what makes our stationery so unique. Everything is custom.
Yes, provided that the characters used are from the English alphabet. There are additional charges for non-English announcements.
Yes. As a customer courtesy, your re-order will be discounted the same as your first order, provided no design changes are made.
Changes can be made up until the time of proof approval on the existing photo and text. Beyond this, re-printing charges will apply.
We accept major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover), U.S. checks and money orders.
You have many options: The fastest solution is to simply give us a call from 9am 5pm EST and place your order over the phone. You can also mail or fax a copy of our order form.

Errors made by Celebration Cottage will be corrected immediately. If necessary, re-prints will be shipped within 24 hours of notification by the customer.
Celebration Cottage wants all of our customers to be delighted with the photo birth announcements and special occasion cards they receive. The proof is the best tool we have to minimize the likelihood of expectations different from the final product. Should a customer desire a re-print, Celebration Cottage will do so at minimal costs on vellum announcements. Non-vellum cards will be re-printed at 25% off the regular price. Bottom line, we will work with you anyway we can to ensure your satisfaction.
